Yesterday, Anna, Audrey, Ella, Emma, Holly, Izzy, Maddy, McKinsey, Molly & Zoe participated in a Mock Quiz Rally organized and supervised by Olivia and the moms. This was a lot of work and fun plus an amazing learning experience for everyone. Pony Up is ready to rock the Quiz Rally next week!
On Saturday, eight Pony Up members and moms attended "Aggie Day" at the Veterinary College at A & M in College Station, sponsored by the Rio Grande Region of USPC and the Vet School. The girls participated in hands on demonstrations and listened to veterinary students talk about a range of topics including anatomy, nutrition, shoeing, opthamology, diseases, wound care, toxic plants and everything in between.
Saturday night was the annual awards banquet for NTEA and Area V eventers at Cowboys Golf Club in Grapevine. Abby, Ambra, Arlee, Audrey, Blair, Emma, Jordan, Maddy, McKinsey, Molly, Olivia & Sydney and parents attended the party. Abby, Ambra & mom Carol received scholarships from NTEA to pursue their riding goals this year - congratulations!

It was a great night of fun and fellowship with the kids and parents playing casino games late into the night. Some of the PUPC members pooled their casino winnings and claimed 2nd prize at the end of the night - the "Girls Rock" basket complete with a custom jump to practice at home. Congratulations to all our winners!
Yesterday seven D-rated members participated in a mounted meeting at Rose Hill Stables under the direction of Felicia Abbott. They earned their badge in "Riding in the Open", practiced jumping obstacles in the cross country field individually and in tandem, then played mounted games in the indoor arena, including barrel racing and bucket jumping. A big "thank you" to Felicia & Rose Hill!
